p> US based Sprint has an opportunity for an International Account Manager-Wholesale in Japan. This individual will sell, service, and grow an assigned base of customers working closely with an account team in a relationship management capacity to meet customized quotas. Identify and pursue new opportunities in assigned territory for revenue growth. Manage customers and prospects across a diverse territory including multiple countries within a specific region. Direct all aspects of the customer relationship, including facilitating necessary meetings with Product, Network and Marketing teams. Use the account planning process to develop strategies to identify and close opportunities where appropriate. Develop and maintain relationships with Sprint support organizations. Travel is needed and working out of normal working hours is to be expected. Expected to conduct all customer-facing activities and successfully negotiate sales agreements with the best possible terms for Sprint. Manage all day to day activities as the account Representative to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Responsible for achieving assigned order/revenue goals and assist Sprint Wholesale in achieving annual revenue objectives for the region. Expected to develop, protect and enhance Sprint’s customer relationships and ensure long term loyalty and commitment. Will collect and utilize information regarding markets, customers and competitors to best position Sprint’s offerings relative to customer needs and competitors’ capabilities. Sales focus will be consultative oriented solutions sales across the Sprint Wholesale portfolio including Wireless and Wireline products.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Ideally 5 years successful selling experience in an International Business to Business environment
• Ideally 5 years successful selling experience in the International Carrier Wholesale market.
• College degree and/or relevant experience
• Proven track record of new customer acquisition experience
• Success selling in a relationship driven sales environment
• Must be able to work with client to understand their business processes, quickly identify inefficiencies, and then clearly articulate how a defined solution solves business requirements
• Ability to think and work independently
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to stay ahead of the game, be comfortable in a results oriented culture (Team player)
• Ability to integrate into an US corporate culture and respond to a constantly changing environment.

• Customer focused – personal standards, satisfaction, personal excellence
• Complex contract negotiation skills
• Fluent in English and Japanese.
