This wireless development opportunity will be responsible for planning, executing, and driving activities that result in individual liable (IL) sales. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and act as a first alert for churn. This role will involve partnering with sales teams and other channels (i.e. GB/ PS, Public Sector, Indirect & Retail) to drive individual liable (IL) sales activity and gross adds. Candidates for this position should be prepared to demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and executing comprehensive IL marketing plans within Sprint’s prospect/ customer base. Intern Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: · This is an entry level wireless opportunity development position responsible for planning, executing, and driving activities that result in IL sales · Develop and execute marketing strategies to identify IL opportunities. · Partner with sales team and other channels (i.e. GB, PS, Indirect, & Retail) to drive IL plan and activations · Develop and maintain customer relationships · Transactional day to day responsibilities You should be knowledgeable in the following areas: · Knowledge of large business/federal accounts · Capable of learning to build a comprehensive IL marketing plan · Marketing background helpful · Success in driving activity that builds results in a sales environment Minimum Qualifications: · Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher · Must be a current student or recent college graduate; within the last year Preferred Qualifications: · Experience with marketing campaigns or projects · IL marketing, planning, and execution · Plan agenda and facilitate business meetings · Knowledge of identifying product position, placement, branding and pricing · Comfortable with proactive interaction between sales team, internal/ external customer, and relationship development · Basic contract knowledge · Solutions focus · Opportunity capture skills · Ability to create and articulate a value proposition to the customer · Time management skills · Strong oral and written communication · Microsoft Office Suite of Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel & PP) · 3.0 or higher GPA preferred · Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, or General Business This is a paid 90 day internship with the potential to turn into a full-time position once the internship ends.
