The Public Sector Account Manager generates sales of company systems and services in named accounts, specific industry or assigned geographic territory. Contacts/visits existing and prospective customers. Builds and maintains network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Observes and participates in presenting products and services that can fill customer needs. Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services. Candidates should possess a successful history of net new business sales, consistent achievement of quota and revenue targets and can accurately and punctually prepare sales forecasts and weekly activity reports. Additionally, candidates should have strong presentation, organization and communications skills with the ability to pay strict attention to details. Initiates customer contact / visits with existing and prospective customers. May act as lead in a team when presenting products / services to existing or prospective customers. Responsible for a cross-section of enterprise/corporate accounts; may be regionally or locally based.
